Parish Community

Year 4 were honoured to welcome Father Joseph to our school for a special visit where he shared insights into his roles and responsibilities as a missionary priest. Throughout his engaging presentation, Father Joseph not only outlined his duties but also emphasized the importance of empathy and understanding in our daily lives. The children actively asked questions, eager to learn more about Father Joseph's experiences and the impact of his work. His visit left a lasting impression, reminding us all of the power of faith, prayer and learning together.

Year 4 have been learning about the parish community. They visited St Francis de Sales Church where Father David and Deacon Juan told them about the different roles within a parish and answered any questions the children had.

Special People

Father David and Deacon Juan visited Year 1 as part of our Special People topic in Religious Education. They shared what they do to help us and our community at the church and also told us the story of becoming both a priest and a deacon. We shared our appreciation and discussed with them who the special people in our lives are and what it is that makes them special.
